Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day With a Baileys Espresso Martini
A cocktail to make both revellers and revilers feel lucky.
Love it or hate it, St. Patrick’s Day is back. No matter what side of the fence you’re on, there’s no doubt you could use a good stiff drink. By replacing the coffee liqueur with Baileys, this espresso martini recipe cranks up the sweetness while also lending the finished product a bit of welcome viscosity, making for more of a cappuccino martini. Calling for only five ingredients and a few simple steps, it won’t require the luck of the Irish to pull this drink off. And if you don’t? Well, it’ll still beat green beer.
Ingredients
1.5 ounces Baileys Original Irish Cream
.25 ounce espresso or cold brew
.25 ounce vodka
Coffee beans
Ice
Method
Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
Add all ingredients and shake.
Strain into a martini glass.
Garnish with coffee beans or chocolate, and now it’s officially Baileys o’clock.
