Colette Grand Café at Holt Renfrew
Dining in.
A restaurant inside a department store must be many things at once—a reprieve from its surroundings, yet appropriate to them; a destination for a quick mid-morning snack and for a three-course meal. Achieving this fine balance at a selection of Holt Renfrew locations across Canada is Colette Grand Café, a Chase Hospitality Group endeavour inspired by the company’s Colette restaurant in Toronto.
“Colette in a nutshell is a French-inspired upscale restaurant,” says Nicolas Storni, Chase Hospitality Group director of operations. “We are fantastic match for Holt Renfrew because our ethos of both brands are very similar—it’s all about elevated experience, upscale guest journeys, and that’s what we offer.” Colette Grand Café Toronto Yorkdale, Vancouver, and Montreal are open, with Edmonton, and Toronto Bloor Street locations hot on their heels.
Classics like beef tartare, moules frites, and steak are to be expected, alongside dishes tailored to highlight regional ingredients. Starting October 13 at Vancouver and Yorkdale locations, afternoon tea will also be on offer in collaboration with British fragrance brand Jo Malone. Nibble a selection of finger sandwiches and petit fours while sipping fine blends of Sloane Tea. Bon appétit.
