This recipe for the Amalfi Sunset Spritz conjures the sun-soaked coast thanks to Malfy Gin Rosa’s rich Sicilian grapefruit infusion and its long juniper finish. This simple spritz is easy enough for any home mixologist to make, but for those who want to experience Italian service with their dose of liquid vitamin D, Toronto’s Vela and Il Patio di Eataly, will be serving Malfy cocktails all summer, as will Vancouver’s Fairmont Pacific Rim.
Ingredients
35 millilitres Malfy Gin Rosa
50 millilitres San Pellegrino Aranciata Rossa
50 millilitres prosecco
Slice of orange
1 strawberry, sliced
Thyme sprig
Method
Build ingredients in a glass over cubed ice. Gently stir to combine.
Garnish with an orange slice, thyme sprig, and strawberry slices.
