Aman Group Brings a Sleek New Hotel to Manhattan

Contemporary oasis.

Using its trademark palette of neutrals, the Aman Group, known for some of the world’s most elegant hotels, has brought sleek new design to Manhattan. Steps from Central Park, Aman New York has opened its doors in Midtown’s 1921 Crown Building. Each of the 83 spacious suites has a fireplace, a rice-paper mural by contemporary artist Ryoko Adachi, and a lavish bathroom with a soaking tub and rain shower. The spa spans three storeys, with an indoor pool flanked with firepits and daybeds, and two spa houses. Interiors are treated with a Japanese-inspired attention to balance and serenity, creating an urban retreat in the city that never sleeps.
