Nespresso Boutique Bar

Toronto's caffeine fix.

Nespresso has taken design cues from its lustrous line of coffee machines and opened its first flagship Boutique Bar in Toronto: a two-storey open-concept space with a floor-to-ceiling glass storefront. Italian architect Aldo Parisotto of Parisotto e Formenton conceived the spacious Yorkville location, where coffee is, naturally, the main act. Visitors can choose from 21 “Grand Cru” coffees and espresso drinks and complement their beverages with a selection of light breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items featuring mainly locally sourced fare. Nespresso introduced the first single-serve capsule coffee machine in 1986, and now the Swiss-based company has proven it’s about more than just little coffee pods.
