Splendido Stools

Splendido is well known as a preferred destination for truly fine dining in Toronto. Owner Yannick Bigourdan knows the secret of consummate entrepreneurs: that the smallest details count more than anything in creating an impeccable experience for a discerning clientele. Splendido has recently introduced just such an innovation aiming to please the gentler sex: a small stool upon which to rest your Birkin, Botkier or Balenciaga. Travelling in Europe, Bigourdan and his wife came across purse stools in finer restaurants. With the help of a local artisan, Bigourdan designed the steel and chocolate brown leather stools, the first of their kind in a Canadian dining establishment. Another detail, says Bigourdan, which contributes to the value and quality one anticipates in a night out at Splendido.
