The Blue Box Café
Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Those wishing to emulate Holly Golightly’s iconic meal from Breakfast at Tiffany’s need no longer schlep croissants down to the jewellery line’s Fifth Avenue flagship in New York—Tiffany & Co. has unveiled the new Blue Box Café for just that purpose.
A haven of celestial opulence, the café shares the building’s fourth floor with a newly renovated luxury home and accessories department displaying the first major collection by Reed Krakoff, the company’s chief artistic officer as of January 2017. Naturally, the two-tone china bears Krakoff’s tongue-in-cheek touch, and the entire space dressed in silver and blue (including a wall of amazonite—a naturally blue-green stone).
As for the menu—expect utterly sophisticated renditions of American classics. But whether you opt for the truffled scrambled eggs or the lobster avocado salad, one choice is non-negotiable: a perfect blue cake made to resemble a Tiffany blue box, a dessert charming and sweet enough to cure any case of the “mean reds”.
