Montreal’s Goodee Arrives in L.A.
Where design meets purpose.
Goodee, the Montreal-founded sustainable online retailer, has announced a West Coast pop-up store in Los Angeles that is open to the public until January 2024.
Designers and twin brothers Byron and Dexter Peart launched Goodee in 2019 to showcase high-quality design that is chosen for its impact, both socially and environmentally.
The L.A. store is in Platform, a shared space for independent creative businesses in Culver City, and will stock brands such as ecoBirdy, Haws, and Iris Hantverk.
The space itself is a collaboration between Goodee and Sangaré, another Montreal firm, with movable wooden crates designed for future reuse. Painted Goodee’s signature yellow, the crates are prominent throughout and feature hand-painted illustrations by artist Clémentine Dufaut.
