Glamping and Nature Retreats in Canada to Visit as Restrictions Ease

Relax, safely.

Is it time to glamp in Canada? The sun is shining, and concerns for health and safety have taken international travel off the table. Pandemic restrictions are easing in many Canadian provinces, and people have been eager to get out and camp—so many that the online reservation services for BC Parks crashed.

We have compiled a list of luxury campground experiences that are open—or opening very soon. It is important to keep in mind that the majority of provinces are still asking people to limit travel to within their own province, and many smaller communities are still asking that outsiders not visit at all. Please consider this while looking into reservations, and be sure to check information on provincial sites to see what the current guidelines are. Almost all of the properties below have posted statements about the extent to which they are open, which amenities are available, and how to book on their websites.

Also be sure to check out our list of Rustic Quebec Retreats and amazing Manitoba Cabins to rent.
