Beauty brand Valmont is known for drawing glacial spring water and extracting botanicals from the Valmont conservatory phyto-alpine garden in the Swiss Alps for its anti-aging serums, creams, and masks. Vancouver is now home to North America’s first La Maison Valmont at Oakridge Centre, where Valmont cellulotherapy products take centre stage in the gleaming boutique. Treatment rooms are tucked away in the back, where you can experience the Élixir des Glaciers Facial, in which Valmont’s signature “butterfly” hand movements are performed to stimulate microcirculation and enhance lymphatic drainage. Beyond beauty, Valmont president Didier Guillon’s passion for art is on display, with paintings by Berlin-based street artist El Bocho to be joined by those of local artists in the future.
