BRUS brewpub in Copenhagen

A new Nordic brewpub.

In this craft beer–crazy world, the opening of a brewpub is hardly something newsworthy. But, Copenhagen’s new BRUS is no ordinary brewpub. Launched by three business partners (two of whom own the celebrated Danish craft brewery To Øl), BRUS is four businesses in one. A slickly designed bar and open concept brewery are complemented by a provisions store where beer sales are backed by groceries, made-in-house sodas and snacks, plus a back corner restaurant, Spontan (from spontaneous), run by Michelin-starred chef Christian Gadient. Scandinavian design elements and a natural inclination toward the New Nordic culinary ethic complete this new Nørrebro district hot spot.
