Moose Knuckles and Telfar Team Up for a Capsule of Club-Ready Outerwear
Futuristic outerwear.
Canadian luxury winter wear brand Moose Knuckles has teamed up with New York-based clothing line Telfar for a second capsule collection of futuristic outerwear that the cast of Euphoria might wear après ski. In black, gold, and silver, the 24-piece ready-to-wear and accessories collection combines Moose Knuckles’ technical know-how with Telfar’s democratic, downtown spirit. “In New York City, coats are basically your car. So if you work for yourself your coat is also your place of business,” says Telfar designer Telfar Clemens of the capsule collection. “These essentially are coats for minding your business.”
At first, fans of either brand might raise an eyebrow at the collaboration. Moose Knuckles is known for their functional winter coats, whereas Telfar has been the uniform for club kids in New York for nearly 20 years. But the merger of Canadian craftsmanship and New York underground culture has yielded a covetable selection of out-there outerwear for anyone who dares to wear it. The bomber jacket and matching pants, both trimmed in either fox fur or lamb shearling, look as at home on the red carpet as they do in Aspen. If you’re looking to add a winterized bag to your collection, look no further: Telfar’s iconic shopping bags, in various sizes, have even been given the Moose Knuckles treatment in quilted down.
Moose Knuckles is also manufacturing Telfar’s debut outerwear collection. “Extending Moose Knuckles’ partnership with Telfar, a boundary-breaking fashion label that continues to innovate in exciting ways, was a no brainer,” says Ayal Twik, Moose Knuckles’ chief marketing officer. “We are excited to continue our collaboration for fall/winter 2022 with new styles that combine Moose Knuckles’ trusted cold weather performance engineering with Telfar’s cult-favourite New York aesthetic.”
The collaboration is available online at Moose Knuckles’ and Telfar, as well as at Moose Knuckles boutiques and retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue, Holt Renfrew, Ssense, and Browns.
