Chef Daniel Humm’s EMP Winter House

A pop-up at the St. Regis Aspen.

If you missed out on the pop-up from three-Michelin-starred restaurant Eleven Madison Park earlier this year in the Hamptons, there is another chance to experience New York City’s most reputable restaurant in Aspen, Colorado at EMP Winter House.

Chef Daniel Humm brings his Swiss roots to life this ski season at St. Regis Aspen Resort’s Chefs Club with the exclusive pop-up. Following an invitation-only premiere on December 14, EMP Winter House will be on through April 6. The last pop-up hosted by the World’s Best Chef recipient included celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Alec Baldwin, and Poppy Delevigne, so be sure to book early if you want to snag a spot at what is expected to be yet another star-studded event.

As expected, the Eleven Madison Park team offers more than just another mountainous experience. Guests can enjoy the slightly more casual Eleven Madison Park menu in the indoor private room or opt to dine in the yurt village. Exclusive to American Express Card holders, the eight custom-designed yurts can be booked for the ultimate alpine menu. Honing in on Humm’s Swiss background, giant pots of cheese fondue, mushroom stroganoff, grilled lobster with potato rosti greet hungry revelers and make for the ideal warming indulgence for a crisp winter evening.

Après-ski menus are also available for those who miss out on dinner reservations with mulled wine and whimsical house-made cocktails like cinnamon whiskey shots to warm you up after hitting the slopes. The wine list is well-equipped with more than 250 options, including local and regional wines, to round up this ephemeral gourmet experience.

EMP Winter House, Chef’s Club at the St. Regis Aspen, 315 E Dean Street, Aspen, CO 81611, will be open from December 15 to April 2019.
