Le Grand Musée du Parfum
Scent of luxury.
Le Grand Musée du Parfum is permanently closed.
Days before Christmas, the City of Light received a breathtaking gift. Standing nose to nose with the prestigious Le Bristol Paris hotel, Le Grand Musée du Parfum opened its doors along one of Paris’s most fashionable hubs, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Housed in an elegant Haussmannian mansion formerly occupied by Christian Lacroix’s couture house, four floors of interactive and state-of-the-art technology whisk visitors into a historical, scientific, and glamorous whirlwind of scent. Amidst a virtual medley of olfactory notes, visitors can sniff out Egyptian kyphi, man’s first fabricated fragrance. Also not to be missed, the concept store houses iconic perfumes of the past, as well as rare bottles.
