Tag Heuer Chronograph Glassbox
Reinventing an icon.
When the Carrera was launched in 1963 by Jack Heuer, the great-grandson of the brand’s founder, the watch was designed to embody his passion for motorsport, taking its name from the open-road rally the Carrera Panamericana. Over the decades, the Carrera has had many evolutions, yet the original 2447 has always been the main inspiration. The new Carrera 39mm Glassbox, in brushed and polished stainless steel, marries modern and vintage. “Glassbox” refers to the domed sapphire crystal that flows over the dial edge, in what looks like a bezel-less case. This new Carrera is a reinvention of an icon and yet another chapter in the Carrera’s storied existence.
