The Curtain Is Up for Watches and Wonders 2021

The curtain has come up on the 2021 edition of Watches and Wonders. The showcase is a best of the best in the world of watchmaking. Close to 500 press conferences, over 40 keynotes, a daily live “Morning Show,” expert-led panels, and a wealth of horological creations makes this the single largest digital trade show in the history of watchmaking.

Last year, as the pandemic first took hold, there was little time to respond to fair cancellations. This year, however, the Watches and Wonders (once the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, or SIHH) brand roster is robust, including a group of exiles from Baselworld—Rolex, Tudor, and LVMH brands Bulgari, Tag Heuer, and Hublot—having jumped ship. The events that run from today until next Tuesday, will generate plenty of chatter and desirable new luxury watches. Once the Geneva edition of Watches and Wonders wraps next week, the focus will switch to Shanghai where a few brands will convene at the West Bund Art Center for a five-day in-person event.

The live streams and presentations for Watches and Wonders are invitation-only and NUVO is there to bring you the latest. Stay tuned.
