Ferretti’s New Infynito 90 Elevates Luxury Yachting

With a bold design and flawless execution, there are Infynito possibilites.

There are certain things one expects to find on a luxury yacht. Luxurious amenities? Always. Spacious stern beach club for swims and more? Absolutely. Extensive wine storage? Of course. But a covered outdoor terrace for entertaining day or night, rain or shine? Well, that’s a surprise. And what a fine surprise it is.

Ferretti Yachts has a long history of surprising its customers with all manner of delights. But the Italian yacht builder has seriously outdone itself with its all-new Infynito 90 and its stunning bow terrace featuring near 270-degree views.

Ferretti calls its magnificent bow space the all-season terrace, and it’s an apt description for the enclosed entertaining area that’s open on the sides, protected forward to tame the breeze when underway, lit overhead by expansive glass skylights, and fully connected to the main deck salon by a drop-down window. Complete with its own oversized lounge seats, bar area, and private Jacuzzi tub, the terrace neatly balances an open-air feel with complete privacy at the pier. Owners can replace the Jacuzzi with a lounge seat if desired, but who would?

The bow terrace is a unique centrepiece on Ferretti’s newest luxury yacht, and one that underscores this boat’s focus on enjoying the great outdoors with nearly half again as much exterior lounge space as its competitors.

Just shy of 27 metres in overall length and a generous 7.3 metres wide, the Infynito 90 is built to cruise in comfort and do so for a long, long time with its enormous 11,500-litre fuel capacity and range of nearly 2,000 kilometres. That’s enough to go from Vancouver to San Diego without stopping —good to know because once you step aboard, you’re not going to want to go back on shore.

Board at the stern, and the deep hydraulic swim platform begins to hint at the fun ahead as you ascend four steps either side of the platform leading into the main-deck cockpit. A large settee and several freestanding chairs surround a delightful table to create an inviting spot to wake gracefully with morning cappuccino or wrap a fine day at sea with a late-night cocktail. An overhead hardtop with a cantilevered design provides protection from overhead sun or occasional showers while affording more than 180-degree uninterrupted views.

Decisions await as you move forward. To either side of the salon, a wide promenade leads forward to the bow, inviting a lazy stroll and perhaps a rest stop up front on the sumptuous bow seating or a full-on rest break to work on a tan. Alternatively, a neat stairway to starboard beckons to the upper-deck Skylounge, while wide glass doors open fully to welcome guests into the main-deck salon.

With its sumptuous seating, enormous windows, and bright, airy decor, the salon is without question this ship’s family entertainment zone. The space’s brilliant blend of texture, fabric, and hardwood in light earth tones—the work of IdeaeItalia’s Davide Bernardini and Alessio Battistini—reflects Ferretti’s commitment to sustainability at sea with its emphasis on natural fibres and recycled materials. It also looks and feels good, with a homey familiarity that can be lacking in some of today’s more contemporary yachts. Not so on the Infynito 90.

Far forward, owners can opt for a formal dining space with either an enclosed or open galley design, or swap out the dining space altogether for a main-deck owner’s stateroom. That’s a nice option that allows the exclusive use of that exquisite bow terrace as a private retreat.

Belowdecks, the Infynito 90 can be specified with up to four spacious staterooms, with its typical layout including a midships master suite with an enormous ensuite head and an equally large walk-in closet, a bow VIP suite that nearly matches the master in size and opulence, and a pair of twin staterooms between—all with large ensuite heads and oversized storage spaces.

Up top on the Skylounge, an extensive aft sun deck provides the ideal spot to soak up some rays with an unbeatable view. There’s also space for a second dining space permitting meals under the stars and a smaller upper-deck salon that roughly echoes the main-deck living space.

Built for cruising in luxury while enjoying the best of today’s engineering and design, Ferretti’s Infynito 90 can’t help but turn heads everywhere it goes. Instead of looking on in envy, arrange a viewing, and you may just find this is the yacht for you.
