At the RBC Canadian Open, Turkish Airlines Hit a Hole-in-One

The airline’s multiyear partnership with Golf Canada takes flight.

Canadian Open

The third-oldest continuously running tournament on the PGA Tour, the Canadian Open has a long and storied history. Over the years, it has hosted a who’s who of legendary golfers, been the scene of iconic moments, and stirred the pride of Canada’s golfing community. Now, with the addition of Turkish Airlines as the event’s official commercial airline partner, the Great White North’s very own PGA tour stop is entering an exciting new era.

The burgeoning multiyear partnership with Golf Canada kicked off last weekend at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, where the world’s best golfers gathered for the 114th presentation of the event. Alongside the title sponsor, RBC, Turkish Airlines offered select guests exclusive access to one of two premium lounges in TPC Toronto’s clubhouse, overlooking the 18th hole. Inside, guests were treated to cold drinks and an expertly curated buffet before winding down with a cup of Turkish coffee, authentic baklava, or other unique dishes served by one of Turkish Airlines’ world-famous Flying Chefs, who were flown in expressly for the event. Outside, for those wandering the course in hopes of catching a hole-in-one, Turkish Airlines touchpoints at the 14th and 17th holes offered fans branded swag with a signature smile.
