Finally, Gucci Osteria has opened its doors in Beverly Hills. An opulent green marble oasis on the rooftop of Gucci’s Rodeo Drive flagship, the 50-seat restaurant is the second one worldwide for the Italian luxury house.

A collaborative effort between three-Michelin-star chef Massimo Bottura and Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri—long-time childhood friends from their days in Modena—the intimate eatery serves traditional Italian fare with a laidback California vibe. The original restaurant, located inside Florence’s Gucci Garden, is renowned for signature items like the Emilia burger—featuring a decadent balsamic mayo—and Bottura’s legendary parmigiano-reggiano cream tortellini, both of which appear on the Rodeo Drive menu. Bottura’s team sources organic produce from farmers’ markets in the Los Angeles area, part of the restaurant’s efforts to create plant-based dishes reflective of California’s uniquely diverse palette. Pastry chef Tamara Rigo rounds out the offerings with a selection of delectable desserts, including one inspired by the famous sunsets at nearby Venice Beach.

Guests are whisked away to the house’s decidedly retro universe upon entry, melding food and fashion together in a way only Gucci can. Red marble dining tables, herringbone floors, and antique mirrors set the mood, along with the brand’s signature floral wallpaper and luxe burgundy velvet banquettes. A picturesque patio space, outfitted with wicker dining chairs and an antique wooden pulpit bar, offers sweeping views of the iconic luxury shopping street.
