Bulgari Teams Up With MB&F for the LM FlyingT Allegra

Look at my wrist.

Maximilian Büsser, founder of MB&F, is the epitome of an independent Swiss watch manufacturer. Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani is the ebullient Neapolitan tasked with product creation as executive director of Roman jeweller Bulgari. As a duo, the two have created a timepiece that was the talk of Dubai Watch Week, the biennial Middle Eastern watch fair: the LM FlyingT Allegra.

MB&F and Bulgari is an unlikely association, as with other collaborations: Gucci x Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton x Richard Prince, Bulgari x Tadao Ando. The result, however, makes for sought-after curios. The merging of the mindsets of Büsser and Stigliani combines two distinct design codes in one wristwatch: the horological machines of MB&F and the vibrant colour of the signature Bulgari gemstone setting.

Büsser launched the Legacy Machine FlyingT, the first MB&F timepiece specifically for women, in 2019, and the T represents the initial in Tiffany, the name of Büsser’s wife, as well as in flying tourbillon. The 20-piece limited collection LM FlyingT Allegra is available in white or rose gold, with the tourmaline, tsavorite, amethyst, tanzanite, and, depending on the version, topaz or rubellite in a snow-setting of diamonds. The sapphire dome houses a towering movement topped with a flying tourbillon and a power reserve of 100 hours.
