Pininfarina is synonymous with superior design (Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, to name a few). Their latest collaboration with 43 Cycles, Milan’s luxury bicycle creators, resulted in the Pininfarina Fuoriserie, revealed at the Seoul Living Design Fair. The bike (only 30 will be produced) impresses with its 1930s-style aesthetic and woven Italian leather handlebars and seat, inspired by the Lancia Astura Bocca automobile. The bike also has a Bike+ system, a lightweight battery-powered motor with top speeds of 25 kilometres an hour, which allows the user to personalize their ride using a smartphone app. Though reminiscent of Pininfarina’s luxurious history, the Fuoriserie is incomparably forward-thinking.
