Mikimoto Regalia

A cultured collection.

NUVO Magazine: Mikimoto Regalia

Thirteen is a lucky number for Regalia, the latest jewellery collection from Mikimoto, which features just that many pearlescent pieces. For inspiration, the company’s master artisans spent two years poring over their rich and plentiful archives, studying seminal works in order to create new interpretations that alluded to the past. (In 1893, founder Kokichi Mikimoto became the first person to develop a successful technique for pearl cultivation.) The result is a baker’s dozen of ornate necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings that shimmer with white South Sea cultured pearls, diamonds, and 18-karat white gold. Regalia is, without a doubt, a collection fit for a queen.
