A Dior Spa Experience Through the Wonders of Southeast Asia
The Eastern & Oriental Express, a Belmond Train, is home to the maison’s first spa in the region.
En route from Singapore to Malaysia, guests aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express can indulge in the exclusive spa experience while the train, one of several owned by Bermuda’s Belmond hospitality and leisure group, rolls past scenic rainforests, rivers, rice fields, and temples.
In a dedicated carriage, the Dior Spa reception area includes a range of Dior skin care, makeup, and fragrances. The maison’s signature toile de Jouy in green adorns the spa’s curtains and cushions in the train’s art deco-inspired interior. The design and other Dior branding are also used in the two treatment rooms along with woven cane crafted from tropical wood.
Treatments cater to the aches of travel and recovery from day trips and adventures, leaving guests revitalized. Asian massage techniques are incorporated in the five tailor-made five treatments available for deep tissue, muscle tension release, meditation, and facial massages for anti-aging.
There is also a Dior Spa aboard Belmond’s Royal Scotsman train. Belmond aims to be a steward of the art of travel—making the journey as important as the destination—providing exceptional, refined experiences aboard their trains, river cruises, safaris, restaurants, and hotels.
