A new limited-edition capsule collection from Coach’s Stuart Vevers and Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte makes its debut just in time for spring. Combining the functional luxury of Coach with Rodarte’s conceptual and romantic designs, the collection features leather purses, jackets, and dresses heavily embellished with sequined floral patterns. Partially inspired by the designers’ friendship, the collection also includes pieces that feature the phrase, “This is A Coach Bag”—a slogan the leatherwear label used in the 1970s that struck the Mulleavy sisters as particularly resonant. Hitting stores April 14, this unexpected power pairing feels just right.
