Tiffany & Co.’s Save the Wild Collection

Jewellery for a cause.

Each year, 33,000 elephants are killed in Africa by poachers, fuelled by the black market for their tusks. Enter the Elephant Crisis Fund, which was established with the aim of preventing the demise of elephants around the world.

Last fall, Tiffany & Co. pledged to raise $1-million (U.S.) for the fund by 2019 and introduced the Save the Wild jewellery collection. The elephant-themed pieces range from pendants to a Jean Schlumberger–designed brooch, crafted in precious metals and embellished with tsavorites and diamonds. Donating 100 per cent of those profits to the Elephant Crisis Fund, Tiffany & Co. has already hit their goal, more than a year in advance of its deadline, and will ambitiously continue with the fundraiser.
