Until February 11, visitors to Holt Renfrew’s Bloor Street location in Toronto can experience the wonders of Hennessy cognac anew at The Art of Personalization pop-up. To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, the venerable French cognac house tapped award-winning artist Yang Yongliang to design limited-edition Lunar New Year packaging for its V.S.O.P, X.O, and Paradis offerings. Inspired by his digital artwork Dragon’s Odyssey—an animation of a stunning metallic dragon dipping in and out of waves in a roiling golden seaYongliang’s designs take centre stage in and around the Holt’s Café on the store’s lower third floor.

Each of Hennessy’s limited-edition Lunar New Year offerings is also available at select Canadian retailers, but patrons of Holt-Renfrew are in for an extra-special treat. During the pop-up, customers can personalize their Hennessey Lunar New Year bottle purchases with complimentary calligraphy available in English or traditional Chinese characters. And for those who can’t wait to have a taste of Hennessy’s iconic smooth flavour, Holt’s Café will be serving three cocktails featuring the brand’s cognac for the duration of the pop-up.
