Just a decade shy of its golden anniversary, Porsche Design celebrates its fortieth year as an exemplar of influential product design with the launch of its first Canadian store in Toronto this May. The 1,600-square-foot Yorkville boutique boasts a range of Porsche Design products including the P’8478 Sunglasses and the Heritage P’6510 Black Chronograph, based on the first all-black watch, Porsche Design’s Chronograph I. In addition to men’s and women’s apparel, the boutique shelves eyewear, leather goods, writing tools, luggage, and home accessories. “We are very excited to bring Porsche Design to Canada,” says Dr. Juergen Gessler, CEO of the Porsche Design Group. “Most of these products have not been seen here before.”
