Jean Paul Gaultier for Roche Bobois
Furnish in fashion.
A recent collaboration between Jean Paul Gaultier and Roche Bobois shows that the former enfant terrible of fashion still has a ways to go before reaching his golden years. Celebrating the French furniture company’s 50th anniversary, the Jean Paul Gaultier collection for Roche Bobois is bold yet elegant, made up of a bedroom set, furniture pieces (including a reworking of Hans Hopfer’s iconic low-slung Mah Jong sofa), and complementary accessories. Gaultier marks the collection with his much-adored navy and white Breton stripes, which run across seat cushions, an upholstered headboard, and a carpet.
