Van Cleef & Arpels Reimagines the Iconic Alhambra Collection

A modern twist on a timeless classic.

Van Cleef & Arpels is reinventing its iconic Alhambra collection as transformable jewellery. Long celebrated for its four-leaf-clover motif, the Alhambra line has been a hallmark of elegance since it was introduced in 1968. The maison’s new approach lets wearers create multiple looks from a single piece. New are two long necklaces—guilloché white gold, chalcedony, and white mother-of-pearl, as well as guilloché rose gold with grey and white mother-of-pearl—that transform into a short necklace and accompanying bracelet along with two reversible rings in matching finishes. The updated Alhambra collection may be a beloved classic worn by many, but its beauty lies in personal expression.
