Lune 1860’s Fashion, Art and Theatre-Inspired Tableau Collection

Reviving the art of tablescape design through elegant table coverings.

A good gathering isn’t complete without a table set for sipping, snacking, and encouraging guests to connect. Setting the tone for a memorable occasion starts with the table covering, according to Lune 1860. Paying homage to the art of table dressing, the Ontario-based brand believes the tablecloth is the canvas for an impressive tablescape—beautifully draped, touching the floor, or trailing off the table—punctuated with floral arrangements and dinnerware.

Whether for a grand celebration or an intimate social setting, pieces from the Lune Tableau Collection—and their coquettish, ballet-like, and theatrical designs—would be a striking addition to an elegant gathering. The name comes from tableau vivant, or “living picture.” Each piece (made-to-order) in the collection was based on the eight lunar phases by Lune co-founder Lisa Mok, presenting the collection as a celebration of coming together.
