Le Picnic is a twist on al fresco dining. With signature Veuve Clicquot yellow accents setting the scene, details have been designed to channel that carefree, sun-drenched feeling. The 17th-floor rooftop at the JW Marriott is open to the public, and bottles of Veuve Clicquot pop with enviable regularity. Picnic fare is Veuve Clicquot-branded boxes with fried chicken sandwiches and fries, champagne-poached prawns, sticky maple pork belly, burrata and garden tomato salad, and cheese and charcuterie, designed for lingering over.
Call it a boozy lunch, cinq à sept, or a night out, the summer’s last sparkling act is Le Picnic.
