Haider Ackermann and Canada Goose Debut SS25 Snow Goose Capsule
Desert odyssey.

For the unveiling of his spring/summer 2025 Snow Goose collection, creative director Haider Ackermann chose not a runway but the untamed landscape of North Lake Powell, Utah. Creatives invited to a three-day desert expedition brought the new line to life against the region’s vast sandstone and stillness.
The experience began with kayaking and a boat ride through the lake’s winding channels, followed by a serene lunch on sun-bleached sandstone. As night fell, guests were guided to a hidden slot canyon where dinner was served by candlelight beneath the stars.
Ackermann’s close-knit circle of artists, models, and more—among them Erin Wasson, Jack Pierson, Olivia Singer, and performance poet Kai-Isaiah Jamal—were outfitted in the new collection’s pieces: warm-weather interpretations of classic Canada Goose silhouettes, reimagined with breathability, movement, and elegance in mind.
Day three opened with a surprise breakfast atop Tower Butte, perched more than 1,500 metres above sea level. There, guests took part in Navajo storytelling with tour guide Eli Secody, honouring the sacred meaning of the land. The journey ended with a canyon horseback ride and an intimate open-air performance by musician Casey MQ.
Ackermann’s vision for the campaign fused performance, place, and purpose—a tactile, emotional reminder that design is as much about experience as it is about form.
