The Dalmore has debuted a collection of limited-edition single malts, a collaboration of talents from the worlds of whisky and architecture. The Luminary Series marks the beginning of a partnership with V&A Dundee in Scotland, the first Victoria and Albert museum outside London.
Clear some room in your bar cart: The Dalmore’s new rare and collectible whiskies are here. Created in partnership with V&A Dundee, Scotland’s design museum, The Dalmore’s The Luminary Series is a new collection of rare, limited-edition single malt whiskies inspired by architectural design.
Thanks to a unique partnership with the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, it has just been announced that The Dalmore’s 30-year age statement will be pouring exclusively at Notch8, the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant.
It comes at a time when the landscape of whisky drinkers is quickly evolving so brands need to reaffirm their identity to connect with the new generation of consumers.
“Whisky runs in my blood,” says Richard Paterson, spirited ambassador for the Dalmore and a third-generation whisky man. Paterson’s skill at tasting, assessing, and blending whiskies has become so acute he is affectionately known in the trade as “the Nose”.
