La maison Hermès is no stranger to saddles and steeds, with Saut Hermès having just concluded its fifth edition this past March. It is only natural then that the equine-inspired French fashion house utilized its considerable construction skills when the time came to saddle up for a more leisurely ride. Le Flâneur d’Hermès is a classic unisex city bike conceptualized by the house for those who care to wander in style. Taurillon leather seating and grips complement a charcoal carbon fibre frame equipped with eight gears and fixed lights at the front and rear. Reigns were abandoned in favour of hydraulic disc brakes, and a belt-driven transmission allows riders to change speeds when stationary. All in all, the complete package, weighing just 11 kilograms. Call it a pavement-loving pony.
