The icon of the compact knife world, the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife, has a new look. Ten new looks, to be exact—all resulting from the retailer’s call for design submissions using Jovoto, an online crowdsourcing platform, for its 2013 Limited Edition Classic Swiss Army Knives collection. With over 1,000 artwork entries received, Victorinox’s creative team utilized its Facebook platform, calling on fans of the brand to help narrow the selection by voting for their favourites, until 10 victors emerged. Winning prints hail from Brazil, Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Spain, and Sri Lanka and come September, the knives will be available for purchase in Canada.
