NUVO Magazine: Noble Handcrafted Syrup

Québécois sugar shacks harvest their maple motherlodes in the spring, but autumn is when breakfast tables become laden with syrup bottles. Noble Handcrafted, a culinary line created by Mikuni Wild Harvest, blends two types of maple syrup, each one a confectionary tribute to Canadiana with a hint of je ne sais quoi. There’s the floral Tahitian Vanilla Bean and Egyptian Chamomile Blossom and the sultry Tuthilltown Bourbon Barrel Matured syrup, which is aged in charred American oak barrels. Brand creator Tyler Gray has also hinted at a special-edition “glaze” set to launch this November, created from a stash of aging, extra-dark syrup: “Unfiltered, smoky, spicy, rich, and sweet—and of course, super limited.”
