While the world watches from afar, the Canadian Olympic coterie will convene at the Rio Canada House, designed pro-bono by architects Yabu Pushelberg in collaboration with Toronto artist Deborah Moss’s creative company Moss & Lam.

FROM THE ARCHIVE: For the well-travelled individual with a fondness for the good life, it’s hard to be far from a project by George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, the creative pair behind Yabu Pushelberg. They have now been appointed to the Order of Canada for their contributions to design excellence internationally and for promoting the Canadian design industry.

As design week descends upon New York, with the International Contemporary Furniture Fair and NYCxDesign taking place this month, Toronto-based design duo George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg add to the discourse with a three-day pop-up exhibition in downtown Manhattan.

The notion that great minds think alike does not apply to this selection of architects and designers. As we bring our 15th anniversary celebration to a close this week, we revisit the people, and stories, behind the spaces we’ve featured over the years.
