Inside the New Generation of Breguet Watches

Louis Charles Breguet, great-great-grandson of the founder, Abraham-Louis Breguet, was one of the great pioneers of aviation. Very few wristwatches deserve as much adoration as the Breguet Type XX. The pilot’s watch was introduced in the early 1950s, and for 2023, there are two redesigned variations: Type XX and Type 20. While the watch has undergone various changes over the years, the greatest importance of the rerelease is the new movements that took Breguet four years to develop. The Type 20 and its Calibre 7281 movement, as well as the Breguet Type XX and its Calibre 728 movement, are housed in a 42-millimetre case.
