This Stunning Villa in Italy Could Be Yours for $43

Does it sound too good to be true? Probably—but we would never lie to you. The raffle is presented by Win Houses in Italy, a charitable fundraiser with proceeds from raffle ticket sales going toward The Children’s Society. Last round, Claude B. a NUVO reader from Ottawa, won his very own Italian retreat: a 200,000-euro Pizzo Calabro townhouse.

This year, the home up for grabs is a stunning villa in Tuscany worth over $500,000 (CAD). This property is being raffled off by Jon and AnnMarie Nurse, who have owned it for 15 years. It is the third house the couple has contributed.

The villa is located in the Garfagnana, a peaceful, unspoilt area north of Lucca that is ideal for those longing to get away from it all. Around the villa are charming hilltop villages and national parks. This fully furnished Italian country dream home has four light and airy bedrooms and four baths, as well as an Instagram-worthy private pool.

The raffle prize includes the deed to the house, cost of transfer taxes and legal fees, flight to Italy, car, and short accommodation to sign over the paperwork. There are no strings attached to the property’s use: it can be used for personal purposes, resold, or rented out for additional income—the choice is yours.

To buy your ticket(s), visit winhousesinitaly.com. A winner will be randomly selected on January 22, 2022, in the presence of a competition and gaming lawyer. After the organizers draw the winner, they will fly out to surprise the winner and tell them the life-changing news (COVID permitting).
