Oakridge Park Is Vancouver’s New Fashion Powerhouse
Transformed, the shopping centre is now home to over 20 renowned luxury houses.
When Oakridge Centre, as it was then called, finally closed its doors in September of 2020, a wave of anticipation followed. In its new design, a glass ceiling ornamented with hanging glass floral sculptures illuminates the West Galleria, live music serenades the North Atrium every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout June, and the world’s most esteemed luxury houses line its halls.
Opened in 1959, the original shopping mall replaced Vancouver’s last virgin forest. Today, it returns renewed and renamed Oakridge Park. The new build finds a sweet spot between retail and honouring the environment with 13 acres of green space and a community goal of reaching 100 per cent zero-carbon energy by the end of the decade, with the project’s full unveiling set for 2029.
While the green space offers a chance to be in nature, inside is a brand-new hub defined by its luxury amenities and boutiques. Louis Vuitton, Loro Piana, Prada, and Ferragamo are just a few of the centre’s new tenants, all clustered in the West Galleria shopping corridor.
Louis Vuitton

Anchoring the corner of the West Galleria and North Galleria, Vancouver’s third Louis Vuitton boutique takes on a contemporary design, reflecting its retail surroundings. Glimpses of the interior peek through the front window’s hanging metal panels, which mimic the circular and diamond shapes of the brand’s Monogram print.
The interior displays menswear and travel on one side and womenswear, watches, and jewellery on the other. Some walls are lined with glowing shelves displaying classic Louis Vuitton handbags—including the Speedy and the Neverfull—while works by local and international artisans decorate others.
Loro Piana

Two doors down, Loro Piana’s exterior is covered in decadent terra cotta ceramic tiles in the maison’s characteristic Kummel red. The boutique’s interior emphasizes earthy elements, a warm colour palette, and natural materials, including the brand’s signature oak and carabottino wood details. With soft golden lighting and rich textures, the boutique’s ambiance is meant to evoke a home away from home.

The front of the store opens to a collection of women’s bags, accessories, ready-to-wear, and shoes, complemented by Kummel, beige, and burgundy tones. The decor then unfolds into cooler shades of navy and beige as the second section features men’s shoes and ready-to-wear.
Ferragamo

Farther along, Ferragamo’s Oakridge Park boutique is the second in North America to reflect the Italian house’s design aesthetic favouring architectural elegance and pristine interior design. Framed with Red Napoleon marble and adorned with the house’s logo, the front window offers Oakridge shoppers a peek into the store.
The interior is organized into three rooms. The first displays bags and accessories, with Calacatta Gold marble as a backdrop to a collection of Ferragamo handbags, placing the beloved Hug model in the spotlight. Through two archways, the second room opens to a plethora of men’s and women’s footwear. Beyond that, the final space showcases ready-to-wear and accessories.
Prada

Across the corridor, the Prada boutique, displaying the house’s signature pastel green hue and black-and-white checkered marble flooring, joins its Alberni Street flagship and three Holt Renfrew concessions, making it the fifth Prada retail presence in Vancouver.
Spanning 7,000 square feet, the store references the original boutique in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The products include men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear, and accessories, featuring the new Days of Summer 2026 collection. In the back, a private suite dedicated to the Prada Eternal Gold fine jewellery collection.
